For those lucky enough to have secured their spot in history by attending the inaugural Dad-A-Palooza last year, this year’s event needs no introduction. Just skip to the bottom and click on the link to purchase your ticket. For those who did not attend, this is your opportunity to secure your spot at the most epic dad’s club party on the planet.
You won’t want to miss this wild bash complete with the eclectic musical stylings of Pat Green, Lil Wayne and Fergie, more electronics and pyrotechnics than a Def Leppard concert, a taco truck, cold beverages and backyard games. So dust off your party pants and join your fellow middle-aged elementary school dad’s for an evening of fun, games (a beer die tournament) and general shenanigans.
Tickets for this priceless event are $100 each, and it includes a taco dinner provided by the Mexico Lindo Taco Truck and a bevy of refreshing beverages to make sure you stay hydrated. All you need to bring is your winning attitude and maybe your green hat and running shoes in case we decide to take a quick jog through Snider Plaza or the SMU quad later in the evening.
Attendees will receive a commemorative T-shirt that will be the envy of all other dads in the district and, heck, probably the world. The festivities will kick off at 4:30 pm at 3528 Bryn Mawr Dr. and will continue until 10:00 pm. Please enter though the side gate. This year, all attendees must either get a ride or walk. Anyone driving to the party will not be admitted.
